We are currently looking to appoint a full-time
Receptionist/Administrator to join and support the Traverse Theatre
Finance and Administration department and maintain the smooth day
to day running of the Traverse Theatre administration office.
No formal qualifications are necessary however you must be
computer literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.
You will have previous experience in a similar role with particular
knowledge of balancing reception/telephone duties with a range of
administration tasks. You must be able to learn and implement
new systems and practices and be able to demonstrate your ability
to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure
environment. Although not essential, experience of working in
a financial environment and of using Sage Line 50 Accounts would be

We are currently seeking to appoint a temporary Barista to join
our small team and assist in the effective, efficient and
profitable running of our ground floor Traverse Coffee kiosk during
the August festival period.
Providing the highest possible standards of service the
successful applicant must have experience of working in a busy bar
or food and beverage outlet and have Barista training. With
the ability to work well within our team, you must also be able to
use your own initiative. With a cheerful, can-do attitude you
will be able to work calmly and efficiently whilst under
pressure. Willingness and ability to work flexibly is a must,
as are excellent communications and cash handling skills.
Although no minimum hours are guaranteed we expect to be able to
offer around 32 - 36 hours per week including early mornings,
evenings and weekends. We can offer an immediate start to the
right candidate. The rate of pay is £6.31 per hour.
