We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Kitchen
Assistant to join our existing kitchen team. The kitchen produces a
varied menu made from locally sourced ingredients served in our
busy Bar Café as well as a range of sandwiches, soups and baked
goodies for sale in our ground floor coffee shop.
The Kitchen Assistant should have experience of working in a
busy kitchen environment and must be able to work as part of
team. Our ideal candidate will have the ability and
willingness to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and
must be able to work calmly and efficiently whilst under
pressure. Food Handler certification would be an advantage
but is not essential.
Typical duties will include: assisting in the preparation and
serving of food; maintaining high standards of hygiene and
cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen and food storage areas;
dish washing; and assisting in the maintenance of Health and Safety

This is a permanent post with a probationary period of 6
months. Hours of work are flexible, with no guaranteed
minimum. The rate of pay is £6.90 per hour. Annual
leave entitlement is a pro rata equivalent to 31 days per annum and
a contributory pension scheme is available. All applicants

TRADING COMPANY MANAGER

management experience, as well as strong knowledge of market trends
