We are currently looking to appoint a full-time Receptionist/Administrator to join and support the Traverse Theatre Finance and Administration department and maintain the smooth day to day running of the Traverse Theatre administration office.

No formal qualifications are necessary however you must be computer literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.  You will have previous experience in a similar role with particular knowledge of balancing reception/telephone duties with a range of administration tasks.  You must be able to learn and implement new systems and practices and be able to demonstrate your ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.  Although not essential, experience of working in a financial environment and of using Sage Line 50 Accounts would be an advantage.

You must be well organised with the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a focus on key tasks and deadlines.  An effective team player you will also be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.  Your customer service skills and telephone manner should be excellent as should your verbal and written communication skills.  The ideal candidate for this key position with a full and varied workload will have boundless energy, imagination and resourcefulness as well as a cheerful disposition and a can-do attitude.

We are currently seeking to appoint a temporary Barista to join our small team and assist in the effective, efficient and profitable running of our ground floor Traverse Coffee kiosk during the August festival period.

Providing the highest possible standards of service the successful applicant must have experience of working in a busy bar or food and beverage outlet and have Barista training.  With the ability to work well within our team, you must also be able to use your own initiative.  With a cheerful, can-do attitude you will be able to work calmly and efficiently whilst under pressure.  Willingness and ability to work flexibly is a must, as are excellent communications and cash handling skills.

Although no minimum hours are guaranteed we expect to be able to offer around 32 - 36 hours per week including early mornings, evenings and weekends.  We can offer an immediate start to the right candidate.  The rate of pay is £6.31 per hour.
