Join Scribble, our Writing Programme
11 January 2016 ← return to listing
Today, marks one week until Scribble; the Traverse's
writing programme for young people, which kick-starts on Monday 18
January. Those between the ages of 15 and 18 years old are given
the opportunity to work with members of the Traverse's artistic
team, as well as professional playwrights, to write and develop
their own scripts.
In learning the tools to turn great ideas into great works,
members of the Scribble group will also get the chance to
meet with other like-minded creative young people, and explore
ideas in a safe and nurturing environment. Alongside this, each
participant will have their work showcased on the Traverse
stage, which has been the launch pad for so many of Scotland
and the UK's foremost playwrights and creatives.
