About

Emily has lost track of where she is; something has happened.

In a simple story of a person who dies, unaware of her passing, Untethered explores the journey Emily’s consciousness might take as gravity lets her go.

We witness through a lyrical, wry text with arresting visual and sound effects Emily’s struggle to understand what has happened to her to reach a point in time and space where a new adventure can begin. Dying, it seems, has much to do with living.

Written by Sally Hobson, this talented company of four actors, including Zoe Hunter and Andy Corelli Jones, are directed by Garrick Pagel, joined by musician Karen Watt and sound designer Paul Lucas to create a unique and transformative immersive reading of Untethered.

Untethered is part of the Traverse's £1 Ticket Project.
