Supposing: is a howl against the unknown, wrestling with the consequences of truth and destiny.
Sally has been cursed. Unexpected, unwanted and hard to shake. Worst of all, no one will believe her. As the line between certainty and doubt begins to blur, Sally must decide whether to trust what she sees, and what happens if she’s right.
Rooted in Greek mythology, Supposing: explores what it means to trust your own instincts when the extraordinary collides with everyday life.
In this new world-premiere production, Zinnie Harris (Further Than The Furthest Thing, This Restless House, Meet me at Dawn) reflects on our relationship with uncertainty, asking whether the future is already written or whether we still have the power to change it.
The Traverse is funded by Creative Scotland and The City of Edinburgh Council.
