About

The Pride Plays, Scotland's first ever LGBTQI+ playwright festival, returns following last year's success.

As part of LGBT History Month Scotland, they're back, continuing to give the stage to voices of a community who still feels underrepresented in Scottish theatre.

Two evenings with two different plays per night followed by a post-show discussion led by the director, playwright and public figure. On the second evening (Sat 15 Feb), we welcome plays by Gabriella Sloss and JD Stewart.

787 Blinks by Gabriella Sloss
A passionate politician. Two best friends. A loving partner.
In the aftermath of a sexual assault, 787 Blinks looks at women friendships, the importance of communication, the celebration of sexuality, and what it means to be a male feminist ally.

Elastic by JD Stewart
Elastic interrogates the complexities of modern-day love, and the lengths at which we will go to keep those we love by our side - no matter what anyone else thinks.

This show is taking part in our £1 Tickets project.
