We are delighted to be bringing back the Positive Stories Festivals building on the incredible success of Season 3 where over 300 young people performed their chosen plays at major theatres across Scotland.

This Season promises even more and we are excited to present this years plays performed by Beath High School, The Lyceum Youth Theatre, The Drama Mill, Nairn Youth Theatre, Firefly Arts, Studio 38, Wonder Fools Youth Board and Rosehill High School.

Plays by Travis Alabanza, Ella Hickson, Douglas Maxwell, Bryony Kimmings and Leyla Josephine.

Positive Stories for Negative Times is an international participatory project offering organisations who work with young people a process, newly commissioned plays and training by the best theatre artists working in the UK free of charge.

Wonder Fools and the Traverse Theatre have presented four seasons of the project so far, reaching over 14,000 young people from 24 different countries including UK, South Africa, India, USA, Canada, Italy and Sweden.

Positive Stories for Negative Times: Season 4 is produced by Wonder Fools in association with Traverse Theatre, Citizens Theatre, Tron Theatre, Theatre Royal Dumfries, An Lanntair and Youth Theatre Arts Scotland with plays co-commissioned by Wonder Fools and Traverse Theatre.

Supported by Creative Scotland, the Gannochy Trust, Hugh Fraser Foundation, William Syson Foundation, and Barcapel Foundation.
