About

What would you choose to remember?

The Immortal Museum has come to the Traverse. Donate your histories and watch as your ancestors are brought to life before your eyes!

Just forget about the chalk outline of a body on the floor, forget about the possible murder too. In fact, forget about everything even mildly inconvenient. Rest assured; our guides are on the case and their investigation will almost certainly not disrupt your tour*

*The Immortal Museum accepts no liability in the event of a chronal and/or temporal disruption to the timelines.

Strange Town presents a new experimental play from award-winning playwright James Beagon (Beneath the Surface) delving into heritage and ancestral tales. Drawn from the real memories and histories of our young cast, Over the Waves challenges ideas of historical ownership, responsibility and how we choose to view our past.

Includes Interactive Gallery from 30 mins before start of performance.

★★★★ “The group dynamic and chemistry was compelling and great to see, and all worked in a way that elevated one another’s performances, which is all that theatre is about.” - North West End (Beneath the Surface, Traverse Theatre 2022)
