World Premiere | Traverse Theatre in co-production with Paines Plough and the Belgrade Theatre Coventry
by Morna Young, directed by Katie Posner, idea conceived by Alex Fthenakis and Morna Young
Matriarch Vivienne Blackwood has always lived life on her own terms; much to the frustration of her fractured family.
On the night of her 80th birthday, legendary actress Vivienne Blackwood gathers the family at her grand old country home for one last party. As the champagne flows and songs are sung, it becomes clear that tonight will be no ordinary gathering. As fractures emerge and beliefs are brought into question, the real reason they’ve been invited will become clear.
The Traverse is funded by Creative Scotland and The City of Edinburgh Council.
