On the moors of the Isle of Lewis, strange things happen…
Lexie and Effie are best friends, but Lexie has a secret that she won't share, and Effie is determined to find out what it is.
Effie convinces her friend to set out across the moors and return to the loch where she and her father used to fish, in the hope that Lexie will open up to her. But a mist descends, and Lexie and Effie soon learn that they are not alone on the cold, dark moors of the Outer Hebrides.
Righ Iasgair: The Fisher King is a new folk thriller by Kenny Boyle based on the folklore of the Isle of Lewis, coinciding with the Gàidhlig holiday Samhainn that marks the beginning of winter, or the "darker half" of the year
