Since late March our indomitable Young Writers Group have received weekly online workshops from acclaimed playwrights such as Douglas Maxwell (The Whip Hand, Charlie Sonata), Frances Poet (Gut, Fibres), Hannah Lavery (The Drift), James Ley (Lovesong to Lavender Menace) and Isobel MacArthur (Pride and Prejudice*[*sort of]).

To mark the end of their Spring sessions, we had planned for a Scratch performance of excerpts of their work to take place in Traverse 2 on Saturday 16 May at 8pm.

Unfortunately, that can no longer happen, but we are delighted to be able to present brand new pieces from 9 Young Writers online, directed remotely and with performers filming in their own homes under lockdown conditions.

The first piece will be made available on our YouTube channel and website at 8pm on Sat 16 May, with a new piece going live each night until Sat 24 May.
