2025 has been an extraordinary year for the Traverse - defined by creativity, connection and resilience.
Across the year, 668 performances took place as part of 143 events, including 57 live music events. In total, 60,556 people attended events in 2025, including 6,445 live music attendees, bringing artists and audiences together for nights that carried far beyond the stage.
With an average ticket price of £11.87, as well as our £1 Ticket scheme, we ensured that work remained accessible while supporting artists and companies. A standout highlight of the year was Traverse Festival, which delivered 408 performances and welcomed 29,665 people across the festival - where we also won a collective FOUR Fringe First Awards.
And - this is a statistic that always gets us excited... and a little hungry - we sold 4,675 pies to A Play, A Pie and a Pie audiences. That's a lot of pastry!
None of this would have been possible without the artists who shared their work, the staff and freelancers who made it happen behind the scenes, and the thousands of audience members who showed up again and again. Thank you for making 2025 unforgettable - we can't wait for the next one!
