Front of House & Bar Team (fixed-term)
JobsWe are looking for energetic, warm and friendly individuals to join our Front of House & Bar Team during the 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe period to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the best possible experience for all of our patrons.
Typical duties will include:
• Providing high standards of customer service at all times.
• Maintaining an inclusive and accessible environment for all patrons.
• Ensuring a smooth and efficient seating process and assisting audience members as appropriate.
• Managing queues and responding to customer queries.
• Serving drinks to audience members, processing payments, wiping down tables, restocking the bar area, and maintaining cleanliness and tidiness.
• Clearing and maintaining Front of House and Bar areas.
• Processing customer payments.
Our ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and has a keen eye for detail. You’ll need to be confident thinking on your feet, with a proactive approach to problem-solving, in order to deliver excellent customer service and help create a welcoming, safe environment that meets the needs of a wide range of patrons.
A passion for customer service, alongside a commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, is essential. Experience in customer service or hospitality would be advantageous, but is not essential. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
This is a fixed-term position for the period of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Full shifts will be offered from 1stto 25th August 2025 with additional training shifts in June 2026. There are no guaranteed minimum hours, however during August we expect to offer a minimum of 18 hours per week.
Rate of pay is £13.45 per hour with a pro-rata paid leave entitlement equivalent to 32 days per annum FTE.
