Sekoya

Following a sold-out debut at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Sekoya presents new compositions shaped by flowing textures where melody and groove intertwine.

Drawing on European jazz, contemporary classical, minimal electronic, soul, and folk, the trio creates a sound that is spacious, lyrical, and grounded in interaction.

Longtime collaborators, the three members developed their approach through years of shared exploration, favouring collective expression over individual solos. Their debut album Shuna, recorded in Memphis with Court Square Recordings, captures this group dynamic.

Two years after their first performance at the Traverse Theatre, they return with new works shaped by subtle interaction, deep listening, and the simple joy of playing together.
