This year’s line up is as follows:

Miguel Giräo

Originally from the Portuguese Midlands and now based in Glasgow, Scotland, Miguel explores the musical traditions of different corners of the world and fuses them with hints of classical and contemporary aesthetics. Miguel is one of the members the award-winnng band Tern, which links the musical traditions of Scotland and the Scandinavia Peninsula, and the piano/guitar duo with Amy Laurenson fusing music from Shetland, Mainland Scotland, Scandinavia, and Eastern Europe. His latest release The Northern Isles Suite, is a collection of music for solo guitar composed of traditional melodies from Orkney and Shetland.

Elír

Elír is a product of Glasgow’s vibrant and eclectic music scene. Featuring Niamh MacKaveney (vocals & fiddle), David Lombardi (fiddle) and Calum McIlroy (guitar), the trio take traditional songs from Scotland and Ireland and merge them with an eclectic range of influences to produce a unique sound. Calum was recently crowned BBC Young Trad Musician of the Year.

Noah Scott & Ciorstaidh Chaimbeul

Noah Scott & Ciorstaidh Chaimbeul met on the Isle of Skye where they are both are part of the spirited island session scene.
