What's on

We are thrilled to announce our TravFest22 programme, and celebrate a return to full strength across our performance spaces this August.

With vibrant and brilliant new work that spans a spectrum of stories and perspectives, from queer rom-coms to the dark heart of show business, TravFest22 marks the beginning of a bright new era for the Traverse as we build momentum for our 60th anniversary in 2023.

This programme celebrates togetherness, resilience, and creativity. We are delighted to offer such a dynamic and varied range of shows this summer: made possible by the determination, ingenuity and passion of everyone involved.

And what would the Festival be without the Bar? The iconic Traverse Bar will be open from 10am til late every day of the Festival, so you no longer need to miss those cracking post-show debates!

We can't wait to see you this August!

The Traverse Theatre is funded by Creative Scotland and The City of Edinburgh Council, with additional support from The Scottish Government Performing Arts Venues Relief Fund.
