About

Framework Theatre presents a night of new writing from emerging theatre-makers of marginalised genders. Inspired by the theme, Louder, we present 4 short new plays written, performed, and directed by emerging theatre-makers in Scotland who are women, non-binary, transgender or identify as another marginalised gender.

Framework Theatre is Scotland’s support organisation for emerging theatre-makers, run by and for early-career artists. We provide bespoke opportunities, like Louder, for artists to grow, experiment and create new work. Louder is entirely created, produced, and performed by emerging theatre-makers.

Louder: A Project For New Writers is part of the Traverse's £1 Ticket Project.

The Traverse Theatre is funded by Creative Scotland and The City of Edinburgh Council
