Edinburgh Tradfest: Session A9

Now in their 21st year, Session A9 have earned their reputation as one of the best live bands in the country. Adored by fellow artists and the wider public, band members have played key roles in Capercaillie, The Peatbog Faeries, Nordic Fiddlers Bloc, The Boys of The Lough, Fiddler's Bid, Blazin' Fiddles and The Treacherous Orchestra. It's no wonder they’re frequently described as a “Scottish Supergroup”.

The band that started as session pals includes Charlie Mckerron, Kevin Henderson, Gordon Gunn and Adam Sutherland on fiddle and vocals, Marc Clementon guitar and vocals, Brian McAlpine on piano and vocals and David ‘Chimp’ Robertson on percussion.

We can think of no one finer to close Edinburgh Tradfest 26. It will be a party that you don’t want to miss!
