Donny’s life has been shaped by addiction and isolation, but when he joins a local support group, he strikes up an unexpected friendship with Jay and Craig. As trust builds between them, Donny shares his secret passion: putting on his best shoes and dancing alone in his bedroom. But when a video of his private routine goes viral, Donny’s unexpected fame threatens to upend the bond they’ve built, with the whole world now watching.

After a raucous run in the Spring, Dancing Shoes returns to the Traverse with even more heart, humour and high-energy moves. A story about connection, recovery and the joy of letting yourself be seen.
