This workshop offers the opportunity to work with Traverse Associate Director, Gareth Nicholls, to consider how directors and actors work together in the rehearsal room. In this workshop, Shvorne Marks, performer in Meek by Penelope Skinner (Headlong in association with Birmingham Repertory Theatre), will consider the actor's relationship to text. Considering how the actor prepares to move from page to stage, this practical workshop will encourage a deeper understanding of text work for actors in new writing.
