Soundhouse Residency at the Traverse Theatre

Showcasing music from his highly acclaimed new album Strand, genre-hopping bass player James Lindsay will be accompanied by a group of some of the top cross-genre players in Scotland. This features Tom Gibbs on keys, Adam Sutherland on fiddle, Hamish Napier on flute, Ben Macdonald on guitar and Scott Mackay on drums.

Lindsay is known as an in-demand session musician as well as full-time member of Breabach. Strand is his debut release as composer and band leader. It is darkly atmospheric blend of instrumental folk and contemporary-jazz.
