New theatre set for Traverse Hothouse

As a hothouse for new theatre, the Traverse is set to welcome a host of new up-and-coming artists this Autumn. Later this month, we open up our stage to emerging and established voices from Edinburgh who are creating exciting new work for the theatre.

Running over three consecutive nights, Traverse Hothouse presents a range of brilliant new works at varying degrees of development in our intimate mini-studio on the Traverse 1 stage.

On Thursday 23 October, Trig Point Theatre bring  Lace Up written by Mikey Burnett and Joseph McCann and Urban Fox Theatre bring Safeword written by Dave Fargnoli.

On Friday 24 October, Stoirm Òg (in co-production with Cumbernauld Theatre) with SpectreTown written by Elspeth Turner and Jenna Watt with new work of live art and contemporary theatre, How You Gonna Live Your Dash take to our mini-studio stage.

Toto Tales with  Nzinga - Warrior Queen and Thrive Theatre with Buffer by playwright Alan Gordon complete the final double bill for Saturday 25 October.
