Music at the Traverse

News 21 Dec 2023

As we head into 2024 we are proud to be including music as a greater part of our programme. By transitioning from our previous schedule of regular Monday night gigs in the Traverse Bar, with help of our friends at Soundhouse, we are excited to be creating a bespoke season with events spanning across our spaces.

Our curated music programme kicks off in January 2024 as we welcome Oddgeir Berg Trio, travelling from Norway to provide a treat for the ears with the third part of their trilogy around the dark hours of the day, While We Wait For a Brand New Day in the Traverse Bar. Canadian folk/country harmony trio, Good Lovelies, help keep January warm on a cold night off the back of their most recent studio album. Norwegian grammy nominee, Wako, also make themselves at home in the bar on Valentine’s Day for a musical night with that special someone!

Bursting into Traverse 1, Soundhouse are moving from their regular Monday slot in the bar with bigger and better acts, kicking off with Cahalen Morrison. Also setting up in Traverse 1 is critically acclaimed Scottish music collective, Meursault, just off the back of their sixth full-length album.

Oddgeir Berg Trio - Wed 17 Jan
Good Lovelies - Wed 24 Jan
Cahalen Morrison (Soundhouse) - Thu 15 Feb
Meursault - Mon 26 Feb

From there, be sure to keep an eye on our What's On page and our social media channels for further announcements of new acts. We look forward to you joining us on this new venture.
