Sous Chef


The Traverse Theatre is currently looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our existing team and assist in the day to day running of our kitchen, producing a range of quality food for the Traverse Bar Café and Traverse Coffee Shop.

Candidates must have experience of working in a busy kitchen environment, food preparation, service and maintaining all kitchen areas and equipment to the highest standards of cleanliness along with a thorough knowledge of health & hygiene regulations. You should also have experience of supervising a small team of staff and have a flexible attitude to shift patterns and availability. If you fit this description and are hardworking, reliable, with a keen interest in food then we are looking for you.

This is a permanent position and we can offer the successful candidate an immediate start. There are no guaranteed minimum hours however we expect to be able to offer an average of 30-35 hours per week. Shifts will be agreed in advance and will include early mornings, evenings and weekends.
