We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Lighting & Sound Technician to join our Production Team developing and delivering a wide range of events and productions. This is a temporary post until the end of this year’s festival.

Typical duties include:

  • Operation and set-up of sound system, helping to programme Q Lab playback software
  • Under direction of Head of Lighting & Sound and Head of Production to be responsible for LX/Technical sessional staff and festival technicians.
  • Rigging, check and setting levels
  • Maintenance of sound and related equipment
  • Rigging, focusing and plotting both sound and lighting for Company and incoming productions
  • Operating lighting & sound during shows as required
  • Carrying out stage and building maintenance work

We are looking for someone with proven experience of operating and installing sound systems and live sound mixing. You should also have experience of working with audio visual projection equipment, using Q Lab sound software and programming ETC Lighting desks. In addition, you should be a strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. If this sounds like you we would love to hear from you.

We can offer an immediate start to the successful candidate, on a temporary contract lasting until 26 August 2025. Hours of work are 40 per week, worked over 5 days including evenings and weekends. Rate of pay is £563.35 pw (£29,310 pa FTE) with overtime payable. Annual leave entitlement is 32 days per annum (including public holidays) and a contributory pension scheme is available with matched contributions at 4%.
