We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic people to join our Front of House & Bar Team in delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming, safe environment to our patrons.

Typical duties include:

  • Providing high standards of customer service.
  • Maintaining an inclusive and accessible environment
  • Assisting audience members with finding seats, guidance to areas within the venue
  • Managing queues and addressing questions from audience members.
  • Scanning tickets and ensuring age restrictions are adhered to.
  • Taking responsibility for safe evacuation of audience members in case of an emergency
  • Serving drinks to audience members, processing payments, wiping down tables and restocking the bar area.

Our ideal candidates will have experience of working as part of a team in a customer orientated environment. You should have superior communication and customer service skills, have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to show initiative. In addition you should also have cash handling experience. Experience working in hospitality or live event venues would be advantageous, but not essential.

This is a permanent position with no minimum guaranteed hours. Hours of work will be variable and offered on an as-required basis and will include daytime, evening and weekend working. We are able to offer increased hours during busy periods, such as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
