Campaign & Communications Manager
JobsThe Traverse Theatre is looking for an experienced Campaign & Communications Manager to support strategic planning, coordination and delivery of integrated communications and campaigns across our programme and organisational priorities.
Typical duties include:
- Lead on development, implementation and monitoring of integrated marketing and communications campaigns for our full programme and organisation priorities.
- Translate organisational objectives into clear campaign strategies, messaging frameworks, audience targets and KPIs.
- Support Head of Communications in forward planning, development of effective workflows and preparation and management of budgets.
- Provide guidance and support to Senior Communications Officer to ensure effective delivery of day-to-day content and channel activity.
- Use available data to inform campaign targeting, messaging and channel strategy.
- Working closely with Box Office forecast demand, monitor performance and optimise activity of campaigns.
- Provide strategic oversight of media activity, supporting the shaping of press narratives and key messages in line with campaign objectives.
- Support proactive and reactive communications approaches as required.
- Act as a key liaison between departments to ensure campaigns are aligned and coherent.
- Lead internal campaign briefings, planning meetings and delivery schedules.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and freelancers where appropriate.
Our ideal candidate will have sound experience of developing and delivering strategic, integrated marketing and communications campaigns; strategic campaign planning and evaluation; and of using audience insight and data to inform decision-making. In addition, we are looking for someone who is experienced in co-ordinating campaigns across multiple teams or stakeholders and of overseeing content across digital, social, email and web channels. You should be a strong strategic thinker with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively as well as having experience of managing or mentoring staff, freelancers or external suppliers and of budget management. This is a permanent, full-time position with a probationary period of 6 months. Hours of work will normally be 40 per week, although additional hours will be required over the Edinburgh Festival period. Working hours will be flexible and may include evening and weekend working. Salary is £35,000-£38,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Annual leave entitlement is 32 days, including 12 public holidays. A contributory pension is available with matched contributions @ 4%.
