Governance and Structure

The Board meet quarterly to discuss main strategic decisions, with business operations delegated to the CEO/ Executive Producer, supported by the Senior Management Team and shall – currently comprising by the Artistic Director, Head of Finance and Operations, Head of Production, Head of Brand and Audience, Head of Business Development, and Senior Creative Producer. The Senior Management Team jointly contributes to the direction, strategy and success of the organisation.

The Board oversees the Traverse Theatre's charitable purpose, whilst complying with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, the Strategic Priorities of the organisations, and current standards of good governance, whilst ensuring financial sustainability.

Board Meetings

Board meetings are held a minimum of 4 times per annum. Meetings typically fall in the months:

  • June
  • September
  • December/January
  • March

Chair of the Board

There is a desire to enhance the diversity of the Board and applications are especially sought from under-represented groups specifically addressing race, disability and age.
