The Traverse Fifty
2013 is a big year for us. In celebration of our 50th
anniversary, we'll be working with 50 writers from Scotland and
beyond for a year-long attachment.
We launched a competition in September 2012, asking for
submissions of 500-word Plays
for Edinburgh.
The Traverse received 630 scripts from across the
globe and writers have been selected
from Scotland, Wales, England, Ireland,
Croatia and Australia.

The winning 50 plays were performed
together to kick off this exciting project which
will runs throughout 2013, and culminates in a new writing festival
in the Autumn.
