Visiting companies

As well as producing our own in-house shows, the Traverse programmes a wide variety of visiting company work in the three seasons which make up our year; Autumn, Spring and Festival.

Programming for these seasons generally starts around ten months prior to the start of the season and all submissions go via our Artistic team for consideration.

Should your company wish to apply to be part of a specific Traverse season, it would be useful to include as much of the following information as possible in your email/letter:

• The name of your company and the name of your show
• A brief synopsis of the show
• Has the show been performed before? If so, where and when? Are there any reviews from the press you could include?
• A brief biography of your company
• What season you would like to be considered for (Autumn, Spring or Festival)? Are there any specific dates you had in mind?
• Do you have a script or DVD of the show?

N.B. We can receive up to hundreds of submissions per season, so please keep in mind that we might not be able to respond immediately.
