Visiting companies

As well as producing our own in-house shows, the Traverse presents a wide variety of new writing and new work from visiting companies who come to us from Scotland, the UK and beyond.

We programme visiting company slots in the following seasons - Autumn, Spring and Festival (as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe). All submissions go via a curatorial process with our Artistic team for consideration.

If you are interested in being part of a specific Traverse season, we'd like to hear from you.

Please fill out the Word document on this page, and where applicable also include the following information:

• A brief synopsis of the show
• Has the show been performed before? If so, where and when? Are there any reviews from the press you could include?
• What season you would like to be considered for (Autumn, Spring or Festival)? Are there any specific dates you had in mind?

N.B. We can receive up to hundreds of submissions per season, so please keep in mind that we might not be able to respond immediately.
