Sponsor a seat

The seating in Traverse 2 preserves the intimate relationship between actors and audience that has always been so characteristic of the Traverse. Not only is it comfortable, it is also highly flexible, allowing us to configure the theatre space in a variety of ways, whichever best suits the play.

There are only a handful of seats remaining to sponsor.  Existing Traverse seat sponsors include such illustrious figures as Robbie Coltrane, Ewan McGregor, Emma Thompson, Honor Blackman, Alan Cumming, Richard Wilson and Dame Judi Dench.

For a one off payment of £500, or 12 monthly payments of £41.70, you too can take your place amongst the stars in Traverse 2. We will credit your support with a plaque on a Traverse 2 seat, and also on our sponsors' board at the entrance to Traverse 2.  Your dedication can be towards a loved one or any dedication of your choice.

In addition, you will receive two complimentary tickets for a Traverse Theatre Company production of your choice. We will also organise a backstage tour where you can see your seat in situ and enjoy refreshments before or afterwards in the Traverse Bar Café.
