The Scottish Flute Trio 

SOUNDSTREAMS

Soundstreams is an innovative new educational project developed and run by the Scottish Flute Trio to allow young people from a variety of schools or community groups to develop their composition skills.

Led by the professional composers, Soundstreams delivers workshops and demonstrations to students to assist them with developing their own pieces.

This performance features new compositions by the professional composers currently involved in the project – John Harris, Kenneth Dempster and Pippa Murphy.

In addition to the commissions, the ensemble will also be performing a selection of the best of the student pieces, showcasing some of Scotlands up-and-coming young composers.
