Oi! Oi!
In a small wee town where tin was shaped and forged, a blacksmith had a daughter not quite the trim. Rita was a bit different. Now as far as the blacksmith was concerned this was a cosmic joke too far, so he set about changing things. He tried to bend and shape her like a Uri Geller spoon.
And that’s how it would have gone on if Spasticus and the Rays hadn’t come along and changed just about everything…
Inspired by the life and songs of Ian Dury, Raspberry is a juicily gothic piece of music theatre that muses on the idea of perfection and perfectability.

“The show is driven along by half-a-dozen wild and cracking songs, superbly sung. And you only have to glance at the strength and conviction of the three central performances... to know that Robson has struck a rich seam of theatrical energy, with talent to burn.”
The Scotsman
