EDWARD ALBEE'S THE GOAT, OR WHO IS SYLVIA?

Directed By Dominic Hill

show

The sense that everything’s going right is a sure sense that everything’s going wrong.

Stevie and Martin are still blissfully happy after all these years. He’s turning fifty and celebrating his achievements as an architect, a husband and a father. She’s never been more content with their perfect life.

But Martin has a secret that threatens to blow everything apart.

A taboo-busting comedy, Edward Albee’s The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? was a massive hit on Broadway. It earned Albee the Tony Award for Best Play and a Pulitzer Prize nomination.

Edward Albee is one of the world’s greatest living playwrights. His plays include Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Zoo Story and Three Tall Women. The Traverse is delighted to be producingthe Scottish premiere of this rarely performed masterpiece.

Contains adult themes.
