A Different Space

Leading artists Martin Creed (Ballet Work No. 1020 from
this season) and Tim Crouch (Englandat the Fruitmarket
Gallery in 2007 and The Author from this season) have
both created work in different forms from the worlds
they’re most known in. They’ll be coming together in
conversation with Fiona Bradley, Director, Fruitmarket
Gallery, Emma Gladstone Producer, Sadlers Wells, and
Katherine Mendelsohn, Literary Manager, Traverse
Theatre. Chaired by Joyce McMillan of The Scotsman.

Playwrights’ Encounter
MON 16 AUG, 2PM – 4PM

An exciting panel of leading writers - Tim Crouch
(The Author), Sam Holcroft (While You Lie), and Michael
West (Freefall) - come together in conversation with Joyce
McMillan, of The Scotsman, to talk about their work and
inspirations. All of these speakers have new plays at this
year’s Traverse Festival.
