Grid Iron
By Douglas Maxwell
To bronco a swing you stand on it, worky up to the bumps, kick the swing over your head and jump beneath it.
It’s the summer of 1983. Five lads act out their dreams
and fears in their local playground in Scotland. Broncoing
is a sign of manhood – which Decky and his friends all
impatiently await. This summer, little do they know how
suddenly and abruptly it will be forced upon them…
This powerful outdoor production is a boisterous look at
the trials and triumphs of growing up.
Multi-award winners Grid Iron return to the Fringe with
this Scotsman Fringe First and Stage Award winning
production.
This is an outdoor performance. Audiences are advised
to dress appropriately.
