The Traverse is delighted to announce that we will be collaborating with Glasgow’s Òran Mór on a season of their acclaimed lunchtime theatre programme A Play, A Pie and A Pint.

Casting has been finalised for the first three plays in the A Play, A Pie and A Pint series at the Traverse. Casting includes Taggart favourite Colin McCredie and The Da Vinci Code's Andrew Clark in The Ching Room. Click here for more details

Now in its 5th year, A Play, A Pie and A Pint is a Glasgow institution where both emerging and experienced writers present short new plays presented by the best actors and directors.

For £10 you get the perfect lunchtime experience - a short play, a pie and a drink (the pint is optional!). The Traverse season will feature five new plays by some of Scotland’s best playwrights - David Greig, Alan Bissett, Robert Forrest, David Harrower and Jo Clifford.

Bon appetit!
