Deep in the forest, a Birdcatcher hunts - plump birds for the eating and pretty birds for the plucking - until one day he discovers the beauty of one bird’s song.

The story of The Birdcatcher’s changing relationship to nature and how compassion brings its reward is vividly brought to life by a dancer (Shamita Ray), puppeteer (Shane Connolly) and musician (Mike Zolker).

An imaginative show for children over the age of 6, where a flickering fan becomes a fluttering wing and the dance is summoned by a shimmering array of percussion.

A production by Tabula Rasa Dance Company choreographed and directed by Claire Pençak.
