Some people need help.
Some people find themselves in a position to give help.
And then there are some people that just help themselves.
One play written by three of Scotland’s best writers, Gilt is a swirl of interlocking characters in one city. In an immense and innovative collaboration, Stephen Greenhorn, Rona Munro and Isabel Wright have united to create seven characters whose world’s thread together to create a modern mosaic about money and love.
There’s John, the TV presenter searching for oblivion, Carla looking for love, Al needs some good luck, Jo’s fumbling for a way out, Chris wants respect, James has put his faith in Anita and Anita would like to start all over again.
Gilt is a play about love and money. Because, after that, what else is there?
